About

Fitness numbers, without the guesswork.

FitQuota exists to answer a small set of questions well: how much energy you use, what that means for what you eat, and how to split it across the day.

Why it exists

Most fitness calculators hand you a number and no working. You cannot tell whether it applied a formula you would recognise, what it assumed about your activity, or how much of the result is genuinely about you. That makes the number hard to trust and impossible to adjust.

FitQuota shows the arithmetic every time. Each result breaks down into the steps that produced it, and every calculator states the formula it uses. If a figure looks wrong, you can see exactly which input moved it.

How the calculators connect

The five tools are one chain rather than five separate pages. The same resting figure feeds your daily burn, which feeds your target, which feeds your macros so the numbers agree with each other wherever you start.

What each one does

Who makes FitQuota

FitQuota is built and maintained by an independent web developer, not by a clinician or a registered dietitian. That is worth stating plainly, because it tells you how to read the numbers: the site is a careful implementation of published formulas, not clinical advice.

What that means in practice is that the calculators do not invent methodology. Each one applies an equation you can look up, states which equation it used, and shows the arithmetic. Where a formula comes from peer-reviewed work or a public health body, the source is cited on that calculator page so you can check it yourself rather than take our word for it.

If you spot an error in a formula or a result, please get in touch. Corrections are welcome and get fixed quickly.

A note on accuracy

All results are estimates based on general formulas. Individual factors such as body composition, medical conditions, and lifestyle can affect actual needs. FitQuota is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
